About the Role:
We’re looking for a Graphic Designer with experience in product packaging and a passion for housewares. Working in the packaging design department, you will create engaging, on-brand packaging designs for our proprietary brands: Handy Gourmet, Ideaworks, North American Wellness, Pet-Able, and Tidy House.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create packaging artwork for various consumer products
• Prepare print-ready files
• Retouch product and packaging photos as needed
• Assist with product photography and photo compositions
• Update existing packaging or adapt designs for new SKUs
• Take direction well and incorporate feedback effectively
• Collaborate with product managers
Qualifications:
• BFA in Graphic Design or related field
• 3+ years of graphic design experience, specifically in packaging
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Strong attention to detail and enthusiasm for packaging design
• Basic photo editing and retouching skills
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Experience preparing files for print production
• Familiarity with dielines and packaging materials
• Experience creating 3D package renders
• Strong typography skills and an eye for layout hierarchy
• Experience with basic lifestyle image composition
