Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' emotional and behavioral issues upon initial intake and throughout the course of treatment.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including crisis intervention and therapeutic counseling, tailored to meet the individual needs of clients.
\n
• Maintain regular communication with clients’ family members or support systems to ensure continuity of care and appropriate discharge planning when necessary.
\n
• Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to develop and continuously refine personalized treatment plans based on psychosocial evaluations.

• Keep accurate, timely clinical records and progress notes in compliance with organization policies and electronic medical record (EMR) standards.
\n
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to remain current with best practices in mental health counseling and treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Required: A minimum of 3 years of professional counseling experience, providing a solid foundation in therapeutic methodologies.

• Must possess a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.

• Active licensure in Pennsylvania as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is mandatory.

• Experience with diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, and implementation of therapeutic interventions.

• Proficiency in document management software and electronic medical records, as well as skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with various therapeutic strategies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based therapies.

• Prior experience working in a remote setting, with demonstrated abilities to manage virtual client interactions effectively.

• Familiarity with community resources and referrals that can enhance patient recovery options.
